Most of the work that goes into building a strong website happens before the design even starts. The more prepared you are, the smoother and faster the process will go.
Here’s what to gather before your site build begins (or what you may already have collected if you're nearing launch):
check What to Prepare:
Logo files (transparent PNGs or SVGs if possible)
Professional photos (headshots, product images, lifestyle shots, etc.)
Written copy for your main pages (Home, About, Services, Contact)
Social media links and usernames
Any login info you'll need to connect platforms (Instagram, scheduling tools, email lists, etc.)
Your brand info (colors, fonts, values, tone if already defined)
Legal content (privacy policy, terms & conditions, disclaimers if needed)
FAQs, testimonials, or pricing details for service-based businesses
Don’t worry if you don’t have all of this ready at once — start with what you can, and build from there.
