Turning a Luxe Vision into a Seamless, Stress-Free Website Experience
McKinley Hatcher isn’t just the founder of MH Luxury Travel, she is also a former photography client and family friend, so this project felt like double the honor and a little extra pressure to create something as stunning, thoughtful, and refined as she is. Before we worked together, she did not have a website at all. Her business was growing through referrals and social media, but without a central hub, potential clients could not easily learn about her process, view testimonials, or inquire. She needed a space that communicated trust, sophistication, and ease, the same qualities she brings to every itinerary.
She chose the Basic Custom Design Package and we built a fully custom Squarespace 7.1 site using the Genuine Template as our foundation. The goal was a calm, elevated, welcoming experience with a hint of wanderlust. We clarified her brand voice, luxury service paired with warmth, and anchored every decision around three words, Professional, Genuine, Trustworthy. I wrote the copy in McKinley’s voice so it feels personal, reassuring, and refined.
On the Home page, we led with confident, aspirational messaging and clear calls to action that invite visitors to learn more, download her Luxury Packing List, or book a discovery call. On the About page, we focused on connection rather than credentials, sharing her story and adding a lighthearted get to know me quiz so clients can quickly relate to the person guiding their trip. The Services page brings clarity without overwhelm, plain-language explanations and transparent planning fees so travelers know exactly how to get started. The Testimonials page lets her clients do the talking, short quotes with room to breathe that highlight her organization, calm presence, and attention to detail. The Contact page feels like the start of a conversation, not a transaction, with a simple inquiry form and direct link to Calendly.
We also added helpful essentials behind the scenes, a custom Instagram Links page to replace third-party tools, a Coming Soon page for prelaunch, SEO titles and meta descriptions for each page, and an instant-access lead magnet so the Luxury Packing List download appears immediately after form submission. No waiting in an inbox, just value right away.
Since launch, McKinley has seen consistent compliments on how luxury the brand feels. Most importantly, she now has a digital home that reflects her work, calm, trustworthy, and designed for ease.
